Room With No Windows
by Pete

The thought of love

Can be so inviting

As it once was for me

Now it’s a spark

Not worth igniting

Cause the flames just burned me

I’ve built walls so high

Even I can’t climb them

I’ll keep myself locked away

I’ll be safer that way

I live in a room without any windows

So that I can protect my heart

Know one comes and know one goes

And know one no

I live in a room with no windows

Time stands still

When your hearts in hiding

And every day feels the same

There’s no sun

And the rain only gets in

When I close my eyes

And I see you standing there

Saying your good byes

You wouldn’t look at me

When you gave me back your key

Save me

I’m too weak to cry for help

A part of me died

When we said good-bye

Now all I do is hide

In my a room without any windows

So that I can protect my heart

Know one comes and know one goes

And know one knows

I live in a room with no windows
