Connecting with Others

There are many ways to connect up with and Chat with other people who are involved with Reactive Attachment Disorder.  I encourage you to spend some time getting to know some others who can relate to what you are going through.  With the internet parents are no longer isolated from other parents who understand!  Here are the different ways you can connect up and chat:

Message Forums: Our  Message Forum has become a community resource for parents, therapists, family members, and anyone wanting to learn more about raising difficult children.

There you will find people from all walks of life sharing common goals.  We have an entire section devoted solely to Attachment Disorder.  Another Section devoted solely to Trauma, Stress, and it's effects on children and adults.

You will find people laughing, crying, learning, making friends, and  venting there.  There is also a section devoted to leisure activities.  You can even go shopping in our forums!  You earn credits while on the forum that you can use in our shop.  Post pictures of your family, pets, artwork, crafts, and vacations there as well.

ChatRooms: Chat in real time on this website.  You can float the chat window so you can still browse the internet while you wait for others to join!

Take some time and check out each one of them.   Some people love to chat and are active one each one.  Some people prefer one way of communicating over another, they use their favorite one.

"Men can only be happy when they do not assume that the object of life is happiness."
